The Healing Arts Center
The St. Stephen’s Healing Arts Center offers wisdom-rooted spiritual practices to the parish and surrounding community of Downtown Portland. These practices, or spiritual arts, enable participants to discover, nurture, and sustain a life of soul that responds to the deepest human longing to realize the truth of who they are: the living and dynamic presence of Holy Mystery.
Faith Explorations - Curious Souls Gather to Read & Reflect

Gather with others to explore the questions of your searching mind and wondering heart.
We read books aloud from authors such as Cynthia Bourgeault, Eckhart Tolle, Richard Rohr, Rumi, Pema Chodron, Jack Spong, and many more. We find that reading aloud slows the tempo, and hearing other voices enables the writings to come alive in new and surprising ways. In many ways the books are there as a "launching pad" for conversation about what resonates with our souls; what questions arise; what matters and what doesn't.
Here we gather not to gain information, although we do, but to be curious and to hold an environment where every question is honored and explored.
Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 on Zoom. (Click this link.)
