Kevin G. Thew Forrester
Rector
Kevin G. Thew Forrester -- the Rector of St. Stephen's -- is a theologian, an interfaith spiritual writer and speaker, and a student and teacher of the soul's journey. Kevin is a certified teacher of the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, and has received certification from the Integral Institute. He is a student of the Diamond Approach, and received Jukai from Shoken Winecoff of Ryumonji Soto Zen Buddhist Temple in May, 2004. As Rector, he founded the Healing Arts Centers at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Marquette, and Trinity Episcopal Church in Houghton, Michigan. He is the author of Beyond My Wants, Beyond My Fears, as well as four previous books, including I Have Called You Friends, Holding Beauty in My Soul's Arms, and My Heart is a Raging Volcano of Love for You, along with being a contributing essayist for Progressing Spirit.

Rïse Thew Forrester

Rïse is a Chaplain with Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Portland. She has served congregations in the dioceses of Oregon, Eastern Oregon, and Northern Michigan. After completing her Chaplaincy Residency at The Mayo Clinic, she joined the Legacy system in 2019.
